Painted from photos Roxy took while visiting Paris. It took over two years to paint and nearly that long to dry.

Thick impasto, distinct brushstrokes, and palette knives were used to create this multi-dimensional glimpse of the Grand Mosque. The piece is rich with bright colors and is a notable landmark in Paris. Roxy chose this specific area because of the angles, colors, and cascading wisteria. This amazing building is rich in history and beauty.

A portion of this painting process was filmed live during the pandemic in real time.  The video is included here as well as the exhibit in the Temecula Civic Center.
